Movie Review – Visioneers

Visioneers is a dark futuistic comedy which I must say failed to reach the expectations I set forth before watching.

My high hopes were based on two qualifications:

A) Zack Galfankis’s reputation for sheer hilarity. (such performances as the hangover, cameos on Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job, and his dvd stand up movies.

B) The epic preview which showed a variety of seemingly un-interconnected random events. (this sparked my initial curiosity as to how all of these events somehew tied together into a rational storyline.

Zack’s performance to me was more reminiscant of Tom Green during his more subdued moments.  Which was utterly dissapointing for me.

The storyline which did tie all the random acts in the trailer did so rather haphazardly.

I enjoyed the character of James Legros much more than that of Zack.

The movie is an idiocracy meets office space type which fails to impress.
